Peschiera – Borghetto sul Mincio
Family- Pedal-assist bike
- Helmet
- Guide for the whole ride
- No deposit required
The Mincio cycle path follows the river south from Peschiera, shaded by poplars, with the water in view almost the whole way. It's the most-ridden route in the area for good reason: flat, well signposted, with pedal assist taking the effort out even for occasional riders.
At Borghetto sul Mincio the river narrows between old mills and houses built right over the water, with the Visconti bridge and Valeggio's Scaliger castle in the background. We stop long enough to take it in before heading back to Peschiera.
A route built for anyone who wants to see the Garda hinterland without climbs or technical terrain. Looking for the same destination on a tougher route? The gravel E-MTB version of this tour (Adventure line) gets you there a different way.
